Entry qualification | Undergraduate diploma (or higher) Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in study areas such as Informatics, Physical, Life or Health sciences. N. B. for non-EU/EFTA applicants: The gap since your completed Bachelor degree should not exceed five years. Selection Criteria: CV prepared according to Europass. Important: additional country-specific requirements are set only for the following countries which you can find HERE (STEP 2). The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Lithuanian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. Translation is considered to be official when it is bound together with the certified true copy of the original document and is confirmed by the translator’s signature. Overview
The Systems Biology Master’s programme is developed in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine, Life Sciences Center, and the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics. This interdisciplinary Master’s degree programme prepares students to perform real-world work in rapidly developing fields including, but not limited to, biological systems modelling, bioengineering, synthetic biology, bioinformatics, neurobiology and data analysis. It is ideal for current and future biologists who wish to take advantage of the most powerful statistical models and programming tools, to produce quantifiable results in their field of choice.
Career opportunities
The Systems Biology programme graduates can find job positions in both the public (universities, health care institutions, research institutes) and private (biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies) sectors.
These specialists can also be attractive in fields where science, studies and business are integrated.
