Overview
The programme of Italian Philology is open to complete beginners. No Italian proficiency is required.
The programme offers the students solid written and spoken communication skills for workplace success in Italian (C1), fundamentals in Italian linguistics, literature, and culture of Italy. The curriculum includes a diverse range of course units designed to help students to develop their language skills, advanced writing, speaking and research skills needed to become successful. The students acquire a range of soft skills by cultivating their analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving and rhetorical skills, and gain knowledge of culture and history, which will allow them to understand the complex modern world today.
Career opportunities
Graduates of this program will be able to work in business and service companies, educational and cultural institutions, foreign embassies, international organizations, media, tourism, public relations, and creative communication fields, as well as in translation agencies, publishing houses, editorial offices, either as freelancers or as content creators, translators, publishers, and creative communication specialists who create their own jobs.
